no tuna just vegetables!

Delicious “tuna” tomato pasta sauce! You don't have to use this sauce with wheat pasta, it also goes great with chickpea pasta! The left over “tuna” goes great in toasted sandwiches, in salads and on pizza!

ingredients

tuna

2 cans of heart of palm

3-4 tbsp nori flakes

1 tsp liquid smoke

3 tbsp coconut aminos (soy sauce/tamari)

1 tbsp garlic granules

1 1/2 cup warm water

squeeze of fresh lemon juice

(the longer this sits so soak, the better the flavour. you may have some “tuna” left over depending on how much you want to add in)

sauce

2 cans of chopped tomatoes

1 tbsp oregano

1 tbsp balsamic vinegar

1 red onion

3 cloves of garlic

1 tbsp capers

1 tsp chilli flakes

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

salt and pepper to taste

nutritional years, black pepper, basil and parsley to garnish!
